What an inspiring day! 
So grateful to have attended the Annual Stroke Awards today on World Stroke Day. It was truly amazing to be amongst so many incredible stroke survivors and their phenomenal supporters — I’m in absolute awe. 
As a stroke survivor of 20 years, I’m deeply humbled to be part of such an empowering community and to witness so many well-deserved awards celebrating expertise, resilience, courage, and lived experience. Congratulations 
to everyone recognised today and to all who continue to raise awareness, support others, and show what strength really looks like.
