Many of you know that subsequent to my stroke, my right vision deteriorated and I became legally blind.
In 2024 I had a donor corneal graft sewed into my right eye. What was initially 38 non-dissolvable stitches to hold it in place, I am now down to nine stitches. Yep, every three months a few more a pulled out in the chair under a local anaesthetic with tweezer, a slit-lamp and amazing skill!

Certainly not an easy process but phenomenal what they can do !
