Quentin Bryce writes in the foreword of my memoir that
“…We travel beside Emma on her gruelling recovery road. Oh, the tension in her storytelling. Every day was a struggle, “my wings had been clipped. I may no longer fly”. Every day terror surrounded and engulfed her…”
At the moment I’d assume this prevalent feeling of being so trapped and fearful resonates with many of us globally. But remember it is reflecting on the hard times that we develop so much resilience. For me, I feel that I only continually to grow through each obstacle I encounter.

A beautiful quote that was read in my yoga class yesterday that captured this –
“She wasn’t born with wings. It was only through sheer inner strength, unwavering faith & resilience that she grew them”

Let’s choose to grow at this time – both wings & resilience!
