As part of my future steps as a speaker, working closely with our future

therapists is so important. To give them a chance to see how they can enhance their future steps.

“How do I  do this?” you ask.

Well I work at both Monash and Latrobe Universities in several disciplines, in lectures and tutorials and relay the ‘lived experience’ as a disability consumer.  Students also practise their counselling skills.

Here’s a testimonial I just received from Latrobe University,

Emma Gee has a natural ability to educate and inspire others in her presentations.  She shares her story with honesty, inviting us to see and understand health care from the client’s perspective. Emma’s participation in our occupational therapy student education is very important. Emma offers essential learning for a better and more person centred future in health care”.
